After the success of the 2026 edition of Theatre of Remembrance and the inaugural European Conference, we’re back and preparing to celebrate 10 years of the project with 10 new performances in January 2027!

We’re delighted to announce that two new partners are joining Theatre of Remembrance: Asociación Cultural Transeúnte (Malagón, Spain) and DSCHUNGEL WIEN (Vienna, Austria).

At the beginning of August, all of the Theatre of Remembrance gathered on a kick-off call to introduce the new edition and celebrate the exciting news that the project had received two more years of European Union funding.

The partners are currently busy brainstorming concepts and themes for performances, and finding youngsters for their performances, while the Theatre of Remembrance team are preparing to launch the new campaign at the beginning of October.

In the most recent monthly partner meeting, each partner answered the question:

What is your first memory of learning about the Second World War?

Many of our partners referenced books and films as their introduction to World War II history which you can view by clicking through the gallery below.
