DSCHUNGEL WIEN, founded in 2004, is a co-production company for independent performing arts with a focus on young audiences. Its programme includes dance, drama, performance art, puppetry and musical theatre, as well as events promoting exchange and discourse. It comprises in-house productions, co-productions, collaborations, and national and international guest performances, and is developed in collaboration with local and international artists, partners, training institutions and in response to the needs of the audience. The Next Generation, MAGMA and GL!TCH4 digital stage formats support emerging talent and enable young artists to participate. In theatre workshops running throughout the year, children and young people create their own theatre alongside artists.

Over the course of a season, DSCHUNGEL WIEN presents over 50 productions for children, teenagers and young adults across three stages. Each year, the diverse programme attracts around 45,000 visitors, including around 25,000 children from nurseries, after-school clubs and schools.
