Asociación Cultural Transeúnte (Spain)
Asociación Cultural Transeúnte is a non-profit organisation based in Malagón, a rural area in Spain, dedicated to promoting culture, creativity, and non-formal education as tools for social transformation.
The organisation works with young people, families, artists, and the local community to create inclusive learning opportunities through theatre, visual arts, music, urban art, carnival, chess, sculpture, cultural festivals, and community events.
The organisation also promotes community mediation and intercultural dialogue, using artistic and participatory methodologies to strengthen social cohesion, prevent conflicts, and foster understanding between people from different backgrounds and generations.
ACT believe that culture should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or opportunities. Through local initiatives and international programmes such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, we empower people to develop creativity, active citizenship, social inclusion, and European values, contributing to stronger, more connected, and resilient rural communities.
