Our partner for 2025, Post Bellum Slovakia, was founded in 2011 and is now based in Bratislava. PBSK is a non-governmental, non-profit civic association that promotes, protects, and campaigns for human rights and freedoms via European Remembrance-inspired activities.

The 2 main pillars of their work include educational activities and documenting testimonies of witnesses of the important historical phenomena of the 20th century (Czech and Slovak veterans of WWII, victims of Holocaust and Stalinism, etc.).

Their educational workshops are based on experience-based learning, drama principles, and their archived testimonies. As of last year, they have conducted over 700 such workshops across Slovakia (also thanks to the support from the EC-Europe for Citizens program, Active Citizens Fund, and other donors).
