Privacy

Your privacy is important to Theater Na de Dam. Therefore, our privacy statement shows what personal data we collect and what we do with it.

First and foremost, Theater Na de Dam aims to meet the needs and expectations of theatre visitors. That is why we use analysis programmes to analyse data about our visitors’ activities on our website and social media channels. Using an IP address, the programmes record data such as internet browser, device type and place of residence. We also process personal data of newsletter subscribers who have signed up online. Furthermore, we sometimes take photos and videos at the start, during and after performances.

Personal data
We use personal data for a number of purposes:
To analyse how often, by whom and in what way the website and our social media channels are visited, we use the program Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses the IP address to record data such as the internet browser, device type and place of residence of website visitors and visitors to our social media channels. We do this to improve our website and social media channels and better tailor our offerings to our visitors’ preferences.

When we send e-mails, data is stored in mailing system MailChimp, which tells whether you received the e-mail, opened it, read it and which links you clicked on. We do this to improve our mailings and better tailor the offer to recipients’ preferences. Personal data of newsletter subscribers are used to send digital newsletters. The newsletter subscriber has given permission for this when registering.
Newsletter subscribers’ data are stored in MailChimp until they unsubscribe from the newsletter or by e-mail.

You obviously have the right to inspect your personal data and the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data.

Photos and videos
Photos and videos we take at the start, during and after performances are used for our own expressions and on our own digital channels such as the website and social media and for other marketing and communication purposes such as the annual report. We keep the photos and videos in our archive indefinitely.

For the photos we take in indoor spaces since 25 May 2018, we ask permission using a consent form publication photos and videos. Images are sporadically sent to third parties, such as media, co-producers and other cooperation partners.

If you have any questions about personal data or the privacy statement of Theater Na de Dam, please contact us at info@ToR.
