Photobook Theatre of Remembrance 2025

This past January 27, Theatre of Remembrance brought together young voices from across Europe to mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day through powerful and moving performances.

From intimate community theatres to historic stages, our programme reached audiences in eight countries across Europe, each play crafted in collaboration with local youth and eyewitnesses of the Second World War. These performances weren’t just acts of remembrance — they were acts of hope, resilience, and collective memory, brought to life through the energy and creativity of a new generation.

We’ve gathered a selection of photos that capture special moments from these plays — moments of silence, of emotion, of connection. Scroll through to see the diverse venues, the talented young casts, and the spirit of remembrance that united them all.

For more behind-the-scenes stories and full performance clips, follow us on Instagram and YouTube — where memory lives on and where this community continues to grow.
